Control-Flex Coupling

Ideal for encoders, Control-Flex Couplings are available with clamp-style zero backlash hubs or in a drop-out design for easy flexible disc changeout.

The Control-Flex Coupling was developed to satisfy today’s higher performance feeback device requirements. To meet this goal, a unique Control-Flex Disc was desogmed which is based on a parallel linkage system. Because of this unique design, the reaction forces due to transmission of torque and unavoidable shaft misalignments are considerably less than when compared with other flexible shaft couplings.

The Control-Flex Disc accounts for parallel, angular and axial shaft misalignments, while maintaining constant transmission of torque and angular velocity.
