Flex Tire Couplings
Flex tire shaft couplings combine all the advantages expected of an ideal flexible coupling.
Flex tire shaft couplings are a highly flexible tire-coupling which fetires a special tire design to provide extreme large misalignment at a low restoring force in each direction without wear.
Flex tire shaft couplings are a torsionally flexible coupling which fit a wide spectrum of uses for technical designers and engineers by combining different types of steel flanges for many different applications.

Flex Tire Couplings
Because of the factory-installed joint, the tire can be radially assembled and disassembled without shifting the connected engines.
The tire is either made of natural rubber or Neoprene in fire resistant, antistatic and oil resistant form which can be used according to the regulations 94/9/EG (ATEX).
Tires made of natural rubber are suitable for ambient temperatures between -50°C and +50°C.
Tire with ATEX are suitable for ambient temperatures between -15°C and +70°C.
