Single-Flex CD Power Series couplers

The Power Series is the latest addition to Zero-Max's leading range of Composite Disc Couplings (CD® couplings). The Power Series complements the traditional CD coupling range with a design that provides higher torque density - meaning greater torque capacity in a more compact solution - while fully utilising the proven benefits of our composite disc technology. Applications that require greater shaft misalignment capacity will continue to benefit from the traditional CD coupling series.

Power Series single-flex composite disc couplings deliver the highest torsional stiffness of all CD couplings as well as high precision and robust operation at high speeds in demanding servo motor driven applications. Although the single-flex design provides the most limited parallel shaft misalignment (similar to metal disc couplings), these compact flexible shaft couplings offer predictable high quality, servo-rated performance, completely backlash-free operation, multiple hub options, and eliminate fretting and fatigue corrosion issues often seen with metal disc couplings.
